Our Story

Founder

Founded by Angela Arista, CPA and educator, Arista Etiquette teaches presence as a lived skill — blending timeless etiquette with modern leadership development.

The work supports children, teens, professionals, and families in building confidence, composure, and credibility through real-world practice.

From the table to interviews and everyday interactions, Arista Etiquette helps individuals show up with intention in moments that matter.

Our Journey

My introduction to etiquette began as a child in an all-girls Catholic school in Colombia, where etiquette lessons initially felt like a punishment. Years later, I understood their power.  I never left an interview—whether for an internship or a job—without an offer. Not because I was the most qualified person in the room, but because I knew how to show up with presence and composure, and how to communicate attentiveness and genuine interest. Those qualities spoke long before my resume ever did.

That realization led me to found Royalty Etiquette, with the goal of helping others be judged by their abilities rather than undermined by their presentation. I later stepped away to focus on my career as a CPA, serving as a Controller and Human Resources Director, where I witnessed firsthand how often talented individuals are overlooked due to a lack of soft skills.

An invitation to teach etiquette at St. Thomas University School of Law brought me back to this work. Today, through Arista Etiquette, I teach students, professionals, and families the social intelligence and presence that quietly determine trust, advancement, and leadership.
